i understand your supposed to apply the oil to the black trim around the t-tops, windows, etc., but what exactly is the result? my trim is very old and cracking and in some places it doesnt even exist anymore, exposing the chrome underneath. at first i thought that the oil would remove the rest of the trim, so it would be all chrome. now i understand though that it just refurbishes the black....so even if i do use peanut oil ill still have some chrome peaking through, right?
